Note: The method describes only the points used for adjustment.
The front doors of the station wagon are no different from the front doors of the base version.

Note: Access to the hinge fastening parts on the pillar for unscrewing them with a flat spanner is possible only after removing the front wing mudguard.
Operations to be performed before adjustment
Install the door on the car (together with an assistant). Install all mounting bolts, but do not tighten them.
Note: Before final installation, it is necessary to restore the seal between the A-pillar and the hinges using sealing mastic.
Adjusting the position
Doors relative to the wing and rear door (in the central part):

(Article reprinted from the website: «RenaultBook»)

Ensure edge alignment, gaps and joints in Zones 1 and V are correct (bolts A and B of the hinges).
Features of the upper hinge
When performing repair work, it is necessary to replace the factory-installed mounting bolt C with a special aftermarket bolt D.
Adjusting the door relative to the wing and the rear door (at the bottom)
Ensure edge alignment, gaps and fit in areas 2 and 21 (with bolts A and B of the loops).
Adjusting the door relative to the rear door (by pillar)
Ensure proper clearances and mating in Zone 3 (bolts A and B of the hinges).
Check the adjustments.
Tighten the mounting bolts in this position.
Note: To adjust the door protrusion (OY), you can, if necessary, expand the hinge holes on the door frame side to a diameter of 0.12 mm.
Front door
Note: If the panels were cut and stripped down to the metal, the anti-corrosion coating must be restored before painting.
Anti-corrosion treatment should be carried out using the following materials: Phosphate-containing primer, solvent, primer (maxima).
Adjusting the position of the door relative to the rear door

Provide coupling in zones V, 21 and 3 (bolt E of the lock retainer).
During this operation, friction is eliminated when normally non-contacting surfaces come into contact and the door closes tightly.
This adjustment should not affect previously adjusted perimeter gaps.
Check the adjustment.
Tighten the fasteners in this position.
