The front doors of the station wagon do not differ from the front doors of the basic version.
Note. Access to the details of fastening the hinges on the rack for their unscrewing with a flat wrench is possible only after removing the front fender mudguard.
Operations before adjustment
Install the door on the car (together with an assistant). Install all mounting bolts, but do not tighten them.
Note. Before the final installation, it is necessary to restore the tightness between the front pillar and the hinges, using sealing mastic.
Position adjustment
Doors vs. fender and tailgate (in the central part):
Ensure edge alignment, gaps and mating in Zones 1 and V (bolts A and B hinges).
Top hinge features
When carrying out repair work, it is necessary to replace the factory-installed fixing bolt With a special after-sales bolt D.
Adjustment of the door relative to the wing and tailgate (in the lower part)
Ensure edge alignment, gaps and mating in zones 2 and 21 (bolts A and B hinges).
Adjustment of a door concerning a back door (on the rack)
Ensure correct gaps and mating in zone 3 (bolts A and B hinges).
Check adjustments.
Tighten the mounting bolts in this position.
Note. To adjust the protrusion of the door (OY) it is possible, if necessary, to expand the hinge holes on the side of the door frame to a diameter of 0.12 mm.
Front door
Note. If cutting and stripping to the metal of the panels was carried out, then before painting it is necessary to restore the anti-corrosion coating.
Anti-corrosion treatment should be carried out using the following materials: Phosphate-containing primer, thinner, primer (maxima).
Adjusting the position of the door relative to the rear door
Provide interface in zones V, 21 and 3 (bolt E of the lock).
During this operation, friction is eliminated when normally non-contacting surfaces come into contact and the door is tightly closed.
This adjustment should not affect the perimeter clearances previously adjusted.
Check adjustment.
Tighten the fasteners in this position.
