Every wheel (except for the spare) has a sensor built into the valve that regularly measures the pressure in the tire.

The system informs the driver via display 1 and on-board computer 2 about normal air pressure in the tires and warns in case of insufficient pressure or puncture.

Indication

Display 1 on the instrument cluster (Megane III) and the on-board computer 2 report a possible deviation from the norm in tire pressure (insufficient tire pressure, punctured tire, system malfunction, etc.).

"Adjust tyre pressure"

A filled F wheel symbol indicates that the tire pressure is insufficient.

"Inflate tyres for motorway"

The tire pressure of four F wheels is higher than normal, the tire pressure is not suitable for the driving speed. Reduce the driving speed or adjust the pressure of the four tires to the values "pressure for driving on the highway" (see information on the label on the end of the driver's door).

"Puncture"

The F wheel designation indicates that a wheel is punctured or the pressure in it is extremely low. Replace the wheel or contact a service station if it is punctured. Inflate the wheel if the pressure in the tires is insufficient,

This message is accompanied by the "STOP" indicator light lighting up.

"Tyre pressure sensors absent" or "Check tyre pressure sensors"

In the E wheel, the symbol of which has disappeared, there is no sensor or the sensor is faulty (for example, if a spare tire is installed).
