Parking brake (Renault Fluence 1)

To release the parking brake: pull lever 2 upwards slightly and, pressing button 3, lower the lever to its lowest position.

To engage the parking brake: pull lever 2 up, make sure the vehicle is securely stopped.

Caution: When driving, make sure that the parking brake is released (the red signal light goes out), otherwise the rear brakes may overheat.
