Before removing, turn off all electrical consumers on the vehicle. Disconnect the wires from the battery terminals, starting with the negative terminal. Unscrew the mounting bolt (Fig. 8.1).
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Note: When installing or each time the battery is disconnected, it may be necessary to perform a few simple steps to ensure normal operation of the vehicle: Set the clock time; enter the four-digit audio system code (using the remote control buttons on the steering wheel).
