Under normal conditions, the rear wiper operates in intermittent mode (with a fixed time delay between brush movements).
The rear window wiper is activated when reverse gear is engaged if the windscreen wiper is on.
Connector pin assignment
1. Electric motor power supply.
2. Electromagnetic reverse braking of the electric motor.
Removal the electric motor
(hatchback and station wagon type cars with non-opening rear window)
Make sure the windshield wiper motor is in the position corresponding to the initial position of the brush on the rear window. Open the luggage compartment, disconnect the battery.
Remove:
- luggage compartment upholstery;
- windshield wiper arm;
- the motor mounting bolts and disconnect the motor connector.

Installation
Install the electric motor in place, connect the electric motor connector, connect the battery to set the electric motor to the position corresponding to the original position of the brush on the rear window
Clean the splines of the wiper arm shaft.
Install new nuts and tighten them to 12 Nm.
Removal the electric motor
(station wagon type vehicles with opening rear window, electric motor removal)
Make sure the wiper motor is in the position that corresponds to the original position of the blade on the rear window. Disconnect the battery.
Remove:
- luggage compartment upholstery;
- windshield wiper lever;
- electric motor mounting bolts and disconnect the electric motor connector.

Remove the windshield wiper motor.
The windshield wiper drive is mounted on the rear opening window. The drive does not need to be removed from the vehicle.
Installation
Install the electric motor in place, connect the electric motor connector, connect the battery to bring the electric motor to the position corresponding to the original position of the brush on the rear window
Removal the drive
The windshield wiper drive is mounted on the rear opening glass. Removing the drive is easy.

Installation
Clean the splines of the wiper arm shaft.
Install a new nut and tighten it to 12 Nm.
Note: If you replace the opening rear window, be sure to adjust the drive:
- if the drive is positioned too low, the cleaning angle is reduced;
- if the drive is positioned too high, the cleaning angle increases.
