Windscreen washer operation



The car is equipped with a double-acting electric pump that supplies fluid from one reservoir to either the windshield or rear window washer, depending on the voltage at the two connector contacts.

The windshield and rear window washers are switched off directly by the windshield wiper switch.

There are two possible options:

If fluid flows through connection A, the windshield washer operates.

To access the windshield washer pump, you need to remove the front bumper.

When removing the pump, mark both lines before disconnecting.

Note: On some modifications (for countries with cold climates) an electric heating system for the jets is used.
