This vehicle is equipped with a dual-circuit electric pump E, which can supply fluid from the same reservoir to either the front or rear washer, depending on which of the two contacts of connector D is supplied with power.
There are two possible cases.
The liquid is supplied through pipe 1, and the front washer operates.
The liquid is supplied through pipe 2, and the rear washer works.
Removal
To access the washer pump:
- remove the windshield wiper arms using the special tool E1ё. 1294-01, having previously marked their position;
- remove the air intake grille gasket of the interior ventilation system;
- remove the air intake grille, having first removed the two side decorative panels and unscrewed the two bolts;
- disconnect the front washer pipe.
When removing the windscreen washer pump E, it is necessary to mark both pipes (1 and 2) before disconnecting them.
Installation
1. Before installing the wiper arms, check that the motor is in its original position.
2. Clean the wiper arm shaft grooves with a wire brush.
3. Install the wiper arms, placing the blades in the position marked during removal.
4. Install new nuts and tighten them to 18 Nm (±15%) using a torque wrench.
