Attention! Features of vehicles equipped with a driver's airbag.

To prevent damage to the contact ring under the steering wheel, the following rules must be observed:

  • before disconnecting the steering column and steering gear, the steering wheel must be locked in a straight-ahead position using a special device, and the steering wheel must remain locked for the entire duration of the work;
  • if you have any doubts about the correct centering of the contact disk, remove the steering wheel and center it.
