Installing connecting rod bearing shells for H4J and M4R engines (Renault Fluence 1)

When replacing the crankshaft, connecting rods, and connecting rod bearing liners, it is necessary to determine the thickness class of the bearing liners installed in the connecting rods.

Degrease the mating surfaces (6) of the connecting rod cover and housing using a cleaner.

Install the connecting rod bearing shells so that the oil hole in the connecting rod is fully visible through the corresponding hole in the connecting rod bearing shells (7).
