Caution: Do not use a punch or engraving tool to mark cylinder affiliation on caps and connecting rods, as this may cause the connecting rod to begin to fail.
Use a permanent pencil. Mark the position of the connecting rod cap relative to the small end of the connecting rod using a permanent pencil.

Remove:
- connecting rod cap bolts;
- connecting rod cover;
- connecting rod cap liners. Mark the position of the liners in relation to the connecting rod cap.

Remove the connecting rod and piston group through the side of the cylinder block that faces the head.
Remove the connecting rod housing bearing. Mark the bearing position according to its connection to the connecting rod housing. Perform the specified operations on the remaining cylinders.
