Using a feeler gauge, check the flatness of the cylinder head mating surface.

Maximum permissible non-flatness: no more than 0.05 mm.

Caution: Grinding of the cylinder head is not permitted.

Centering the valve spring plunger:
1 - boring;
2 — plunger;
3 - pressure sleeve;
4 - valve stem
