Removing
Switch off the ignition.
Attention! Before disconnecting the battery: |

The reliability of the visual indicator is not guaranteed by after-sales service, so do not use the visual indicator as a means of monitoring the condition of the battery.
Loosen the nut (1) terminal of the negative battery cable.
Note: Mark the position of the tip on the negative battery terminal.
Disconnect the battery negative cable.
Remove the cover (2) from the positive terminal.
Loosen the bolt (3) tip of the positive battery cable.
Note: Mark the position of the tip on the positive battery terminal.
Remove the positive battery cable.
Remove:
- bolt (4) battery flange fasteners,
- mounting flange (5),
- rechargeable battery.
Make sure the battery needs to be replaced.
Installation
Check the battery.
Install the battery in its niche.
Install:
- battery mounting flange
- battery flange bolt.
Torque tighten the battery clamp mounting bolt (12 Nm).
Push the positive wire tip onto the battery terminal so that the terminal comes out of the tip.
Attention! Poor contact causes failures when starting the engine or charging the battery from the on-board network, and sparks may occur that lead to an explosion of the battery.
Torque tighten the positive wire terminal bolt (6 Nm).
Install the cover on the positive terminal.
Push the negative cable end onto the battery terminal so that the terminal comes out of the end.
Attention! Poor contact causes failures when starting the engine or charging the battery from the on-board network, and sparks can occur that lead to an explosion of the battery.
Torque tighten the battery negative cable terminal nut (6 Nm).
