Note.
The process of replacing the throttle cable is shown using the K7J and K7M engines as an example. On the K4M engine, the throttle cable is attached to the receiver, but the procedure for adjusting its tension is similar.
2. Check the position of the throttle valve: with the accelerator pedal fully depressed (an assistant should do this) it should be fully open, and when the accelerator pedal is released, it should be fully closed. Otherwise, the drive must be adjusted.

3. Remove the spring clip from the slot of the cable end and move the end forward in the hole of the rubber damper until the valve is completely closed. If the throttle valve does not open completely, move the end of the cable backward until the valve is completely open. Fix the end of the cable in the new position by inserting the bracket into its corresponding slot.
If the throttle actuator adjustment does not allow the throttle valve to be fully opened or closed, or if the actuator binds, replace the throttle actuator cable (see "Replacing the throttle cable").
The original can be found on the website: RenaultBook
4. Replace the air filter.
