Removal and installation wheel sensors (Renault Laguna 2)

Removal

Using a flat-head screwdriver, bend the sensor retaining plate at point G to release the sensor.

Pull the sensor to remove it.



Disconnect the sensors:

• in front of the sensor holders;
• at the rear in the wheel arch behind the mudguards.

Installation

Secure the sensors.



Connect the connectors, maintaining the same wiring route as when removed.

Check the sensor installation clearance over the entire diameter of the ring gear using a set of feeler gauges (the gap is not adjustable).

• Front: Z = 0.6 mm ±0.5.
• Rear: Z = 0.8 mm ±0.5

Note: To avoid failure, make sure the connectors are securely connected.

Note: The sensor must be installed manually. Do not hit the sensor when installing.

Note: Do not pull on the ABS wiring to avoid damaging it.
