Tightening torques: Coolant temperature sensor - 30 Nm.

Removal



Remove the intake silencer.

Disconnect the wiring harness (3) from the coolant temperature sensor.

Disconnect the wiring harness (3) from the coolant temperature sensor.


Remove the coolant temperature sensor.

Installation



Apply 1 or 2 drops of FRENETAN-CHE to the coolant temperature sensor threads (only in case of reuse of the sensor).

Using a surface cleaner, clean and degrease the coolant temperature sensor seating surface in the thermostat housing.

Install the coolant temperature sensor.

Tighten the coolant temperature sensor to the specified torque (30 Nm).

Connect the coolant temperature sensor connector.

Perform:
  • fill the engine cooling system with liquid,
  • remove air from the engine cooling system.
