Removal
Lock the airbag control unit.
Disconnect the battery.
Remove:
- driver's front airbag,
- steering wheel,
- steering column switch assembly,
- instrument panel,
- compartment for small items,
- audio system,
- instrument panel.
Set the air recirculation switch to the recirculation position.
Disconnect the air conditioning control panel connector.
Remove the cable sheath stopper by pressing the tab (3)
Remove the air recirculation flap drive cable (4) from the control panel.
Disconnect the cable sheath stopper (5) from the air distribution unit.
Remove the end of the air recirculation flap drive cable (6).
Disconnect the air recirculation flap drive cable.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Make sure the air recirculation flap is set to the recirculation position.
Make sure the air recirculation flap actuator cable moves its full stroke.
Unlock the airbag control unit.
