Removal
Lock the airbag control unit.
Disconnect the battery.
Set the air distribution switch s to the position corresponding to the air supply to the instrument panel ventilation vents.
Remove:
- driver's front airbag,
- steering wheel,
- steering column switch assembly,
- instrument panel,
- compartment for small items,
- audio system,
- instrument panel.
Disconnect the air conditioning control panel connector.
Remove the cable sheath stopper by pressing the tab (3).
Disconnect the air distribution flap drive cable (4) from the climate control panel.
Disconnect the cable sheath stopper (5) from the air distribution unit.
Remove the end of the air distribution flap drive cable (6).
Remove the air distribution flap drive cable.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Make sure the air distribution flap drive cable moves through its full stroke.
Unlock the airbag control unit.
