Vacuum Booster Air Filter Replacement (Renault Clio 1)

1. Working inside the vehicle, remove the lower portion of the instrument panel from under the steering column.

2. Remove the rubber boot from the rear of the booster and slide it over the push rod.

3. Using a screwdriver or marking tool, pry the old air filter out of the booster.

4. Cut a small sector out of the new filter as shown (see illustration).

Place the filter on the push rod and slide it into the working position into the amplifier.
