A battery is a device for storing energy in chemical form that can be used as electricity.
  • Check the electrolyte level in the battery cells every six months.
  • Remove the plugs and check the electrolyte level in the cans, which should be 1.5 cm above the plates.
  • If necessary, add only distilled water to the jars. Do not pour electrolyte above the required level, otherwise the electrolyte will leak out through the vent.
  • Make sure the battery terminals are clean and the cables are securely attached to them
  • To clean the terminals, disconnect them from the battery and clean them with a wire brush.
  • Apply protective lubricant (technical vaseline) on the top of the battery terminals and the outer surface of the wire tips.
