Operating principle
Depending on the configuration, the car can be equipped with ultrasonic sensors built into the rear bumper.
Ultrasonic sensors built into the rear bumper of the car "measure" the distance between the car and an obstacle when reversing. The measurement is accompanied by sound signals, the frequency of which increases as the car approaches the obstacle; as soon as the distance between the car and the obstacle approaches 40 centimeters, the signal will sound continuously.
When reversing, a sound signal is emitted. If the sound signal is long (3 seconds), it indicates a malfunction.
Note: Make sure that the ultrasonic sensors are not covered (mud, snow, etc.).
Parking sensors
Long term system shutdown
You can turn off the parking sensors by pressing button 1.
The indicator light built into the switch will remain on continuously. The system, which has been switched off in this way, can be switched on again by pressing it again.
Malfunctions
If the system detects a fault, a warning sound will sound for 3 seconds. Contact a service station.
