Armrest bar (on fully equipped models)
A - Power window switch for the driver's and front passenger's doors.
B - Power window switch for the left and right rear doors.
C - Switch for blocking rear windows and locking rear doors (depending on configuration).
Removing switches
The power window control panel is held on the door panel with latches (D).
You can remove it in two ways.
Using pliers to remove upholstery and trim holders.
Using a loop of wire to squeeze the latches.
Disconnect connectors.
Release the switches by pressing tabs D.
Front power window switches on the driver's door
Your vehicle may be equipped with three types of front power window switches:
- driver's door power window/passenger's power window. Driver's window on/off switch (normal and impulse control) and passenger door power window switch:
- impulse non-multiplex power windows for driver and passenger doors. Two-position power window switches for driver's and passenger's doors (normal and impulse control);
- impulse multiplex power window. By design, the multiplex and non-multiplex power window switches are identical, but wired differently.
Note. The illumination of these switches turns on when «+» after the ignition switch (no special night lighting).
