VP001: VIN entry.
This command allows you to manually enter the VIN. car in the ECU.
This command is used every time the computer is replaced. VIN (VF.) inscribed on the nameplate on the pillar of the right front door and embossed on the body under the windshield on the left side.
VP004: vehicle parameters.
This command allows you to enter the engine model, brake system type and body type into the configuration.
Select command VP004 on the diagnostic tool (at Vdiag 10 and Vdiag 11): Make sure the options you select match exactly the type of vehicle.
VP006: Record the date of the last after-sales service operation.
Each time you work with ABS, you must enter the date of the operation.
On the scan tool, select command VP006.
Enter the date using the diagnostic tool keypad.
VP007: speed measurement index. This command allows you to enter an index into the ECU memory that allows you to calculate the vehicle speed depending on the tires installed.
The MK70 ABS or MK60R ESP sends a vehicle speed signal to all systems using this information (instrument panel, injection computer, etc.). This vehicle speed signal replaces the information previously provided by the transmission speed sensor, the ABS ECU calculates the vehicle speed based on the wheel speed and tire evolution of the vehicle.
Note. Vehicle speed signal is transmitted via wired communication (pin 24) on the navigation ECU. audio system. to the sunroof control ECU, and via the multiplex network to all other ECUs.
VP021: Prohibition of automatic activation of the brake light.
This command is used only in certain countries where the legislation prohibits the automatic activation of the brake light without depressing the brake pedal. Brake light control not allowed when ESP is engaged (depending on the legislation of the countries).
VP022: Authorization for automatic activation of the brake light.
This command allows you to restore automatic control of the brake light when ESP is activated, disabled by command VP021 (8 depending on the legislation of the countries).
VP030: chassis wear programming.
This type of programming should be defined as «ACTIVELY». This command is used only in accordance with the Technical Note.
VP031: hydraulic brake force adjustment.
This function must have the characteristic «ACTIVELY» only for supercharged F4R and V4Y engines.

CF079: Gearbox type.
This command allows you to set the type of vehicle gearbox.

LC008: Gearbox type.
This command allows you to determine the type of gearbox entered in the vehicle configuration.
LC016: Chassis wear programming.
This command allows you to determine whether the function of the wear of the chassis elements has been activated on the vehicle.
LC017: Hydraulic brake force control.
This command allows you to determine whether the hydraulic brake force control function has been activated on the vehicle.
