Remove the upper engine covers. Loosen the air duct clamps and remove the air duct. Disconnect the vacuum hose (1) from the brake booster.

Pull the check valve out by rotating it to remove it from the rubber sealing washer.

Note: Do not damage the vacuum take-off pipe on the intake manifold. If it breaks, the intake manifold must be replaced.


Disconnect the vacuum hose (2) from the intake manifold.

Check the condition of the rubber sealing washer and check valve.

Replace faulty parts. Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
