Turn off the ignition
Remove:
- nuts (1) and mounting bolt (2) from the fuel line protection shield,
- fuel line protection.
Disconnect the fitting (3) of the fuel supply line.
Attach:
- tee (Mot. 1311-08) (6) fuel lines at the outlet of the fuel tank,
- pipeline (5) with a pressure gauge from the test kit to the tee (6),
- fuel supply line (7) with tee (6).
Start the engine to operate the fuel pump.
Measure the pressure value:
- the pressure should be constant (about 3.5±0.2 bar),
- it may take a few seconds to obtain the correct pressure value.
Disconnect:
- a pipeline with a pressure gauge from the test kit from the tee,
- tee (Mot. 1311-08) fuel lines at the outlet of the fuel tank.
Connect the fuel inlet line fitting to the fuel tank outlet line.
Install fuel line protection.
Tighten to the specified torque:
- fuel line protection nuts (7 Nm),
- fuel line protection bolts (7 Nm).
