Removal



1. There is no drain plug on the fuel tank, so it is preferable to remove it after all the fuel has been used up. Before starting work, disconnect the negative cable from the battery and then pump out any remaining fuel from the tank.

2. Block the front wheels, then jack up the rear of the car and place it on axle stands. Remove the spare and right rear wheels. Also remove the splash guard.

3. Loosen the clamp and disconnect the hose from the filler pipe.

4. Remove the two screws securing the breather tube assembly.

5. Mark the positions of the tubes, then disconnect them from the filler pipe.

6. Open the fuel tank filler flap and remove the cap.

7. Loosen the screws in the neck recess and remove the filler pipe assembly.

Installation



8. Install in reverse order. Use new clamps.
