Carefully peel off the bead of mastic from the door frame around the perimeter of the door seal film.
Note. If the bead of mastic is difficult to remove, use a hot air burner at approximately 100°C at a distance of approximately 20 cm from the door seal film to facilitate removal.
Remove adhesive residue from the door frame with adhesive tape applied to the bonding area. To remove adhesive residue, gently pull back on the adhesive tape.
Clean the bonding area with a lint-free cloth moistened with heptane.
Attention. For reliable adhesion of the sealing film, the surface of the door must be clean (free of dust, traces of grease or compounds that impair adhesion), without traces of dirt or condensation.
In the film bonding area, the door frame must be completely painted.
The minimum temperature of surfaces for gluing is 15°.
Remove the paper protecting the mastic layer on the door seal film.
Note. Do not touch the mastic layer with your fingers.
Loosely apply the door seal film to the indicated areas (5).
Gently, without applying pressure, install the door seal along the outer edge.
Press the film firmly around the entire perimeter.
