Switch off the ignition.
Remove:
- glove box;
- right front air duct for supplying air to the legs;
- cabin ventilation filter.
Right leg air duct
Remove the lower facing of a combination of devices.
Remove clamp (1) air duct with a lever (Car. 1363) and front air duct (2).
Remove clamp (3) and front air duct (4).
Front side air duct
Remove the tuner amplifier and navigation ECU (if installed).
Remove the retainer (1) and front side air distribution duct (2).
Removing the fan
Disconnect cable (1) air recirculation damper actuator.
Disconnect the air recirculation damper motor connector.
Mark the motor wiring route.
Disconnect wiring from motor.
Remove bolts (2) and air recirculation pipeline.
Disconnect the cabin blower connector through the cabin filter housing.
Position the passenger compartment blower turbine so that the holes are aligned (3), required to install the tool for removing and installing the Valeo electric fan (Ms. 1909).
Install fixture (Ms. 1909) and rotate it slightly from left to right so that the three rods of the fixture align with the three holes in the turbine.
Press the tool and turn it counterclockwise to unlock the passenger compartment electric fan.
Remove the electric fan from the housing, being careful not to damage the turbine.
Note. To avoid unstable operation of the electric fan, position it horizontally, taking care to protect it from any impact.
Install fixture (Ms. 1909) (4) to the interior electric fan.
Position the clamp of the tool along the shaft.
Make sure the clamp is correctly positioned (arrow 5) in relation to the passenger compartment electric fan turbine.
Install the electric fan into the housing by turning the fixture 45°.
Press on the electric fan, the current will not completely enter its housing.
Rotate fixture (Ms. 1909) counterclockwise to secure the coupon electric fan.
Remove the fixture. Connect the interior blower connector.
Install all parts in reverse order.
