  • Engine 1.6 16V: 4.80l
  • Engine 2.0 16V: 5.40 l
  • Engine 1.5 DCi: 4.50 l

Re-initializing the oil change warning system



If you change the engine oil yourself, you must reinitialize the oil change warning system after doing so.

To do this, within 10 seconds after turning on the ignition:
  • press the accelerator pedal all the way down;
  • while holding the accelerator pedal down, press the brake pedal three times in a row.

Reinitialization is complete when the indicator goes out . Otherwise, repeat the operation. Special case: If you change the oil before the oil change warning appears, you also need to reinitialize the warning system. In this case, the warning light will come on to confirm the initialization lights up for about 5 seconds.
