Removal



1. Drain the cooling system as described in Section 1.

2. Remove the oil filter (see Section 1).

3. Loosen the clamps and disconnect the cooling system hoses from the engine oil cooler.

4. Unscrew the through-bolt mounting post of the oil filter, which also secures the engine oil cooler, and remove the cooler from the engine. Remove the O-ring (see illustrations).

Installation



5. Install in reverse order, using a new O-ring.
