Removal and installation
1. Place the vehicle on a two-post lift.
2. Remove the air filter air intake pipe.
3. Remove the battery.
4. Remove the computer bracket mounting bolts and connectors 1, then move the computer bracket together with the diesel fuel filter to the side.
5. Remove the starter mounting bolts and heat shield A.
6. Remove the starter connectors.
7. Remove the starter.
8. Install in the reverse order of removal. Check for the presence of the centering sleeve, which should be at point B.
