Remove the engine oil pan guard.

Drain the oil from the engine.

Loosen the engine oil pan mounting bolts in the order shown.

Remove the engine oil sump using the crankcase separator with silicone seals (Mot. 1716).

Remove the engine oil pan.

Remove the engine oil pan.


Note: Please note that some oil remains in the engine oil pan.

Before installation, apply mating surface cleaner to the surfaces to be cleaned.

Wait for about 10 minutes. Remove the residue with a wooden spatula.

Degrease and clean the mating surfaces with a surface cleaner.

Make sure that the surface of the engine oil pan is not scratched or deformed.

If such damage is found, replace the pan.

Check that the locking plate is not scratched.

Apply a bead of silicone sealant approximately 5mm in diameter approximately 8mm from the inside edge of the oil pan to ensure a secure seal.

Install the engine oil pan.

Tighten the engine oil pan mounting bolts by hand until they touch.

Tighten the oil pan mounting bolts in the specified order to the specified torque of 10 Nm.
