Removing
1. Unscrew the bolts A of the cover upholstery, then pry up the upholstery with a wide wedge to release it from the clamps (see illustration).

2. Disconnect the plug 1 power supply of the executive electric motor of the central lock (see illustration).

3. Disconnect the rod B from the lock, pulling the plastic retainer away from the switch (cylinder) castle (see illustration 11.2).
4. Unscrew the two nuts C and remove the lock switch.
5. Unscrew bolt D, remove clamp E and disconnect the central locking motor from the lock switch (see illustration).

6. Unscrew two bolts of fastening of the case of the lock and take it from a cavity of a cover of a luggage carrier.
Installation
7. Attach the central locking motor to the lock switch with the bolt and clip.
8. Insert the switch and the lock body into the cavity of the trunk lid and secure them.
9. Connect the power wire of the central locking motor.
10. Fasten the drive rod to the lock and fix it.
11. Replace the cover upholstery, securing it with clips and screws. If necessary, replace damaged clips with new ones.
SCENIC cars
The trunk lid lock is secured with two bolts.
12. Remove the lock to disconnect the rod from the handle (see illustration). The rod is disconnected from the lock, not from the handle.
