Removal
1. Remove the door trim.
2. Front door Remove the side impact converter.
3. Disconnect rod 1 from the outer door handle (see illustration).

4. Rear side door. Remove both plugs B from the bolt heads by prying them off with a narrow screwdriver (see illustration).

5. Unscrew the bolts A securing the outer door handle (see illustration).

6. Pull the handle upwards and remove it (see illustration).

Installation
7. Put the handle back in place and secure with bolts.
8. Attach the rod to the handle (see illustration 19.3).
9. Rear door. Close the holes for the handle mounting bolts with plugs.
10. Install the impact converter (front door), as well as door trim.
