The converter consists of two parts and must be removed when performing many tasks.
The inside of the converter
Removal
1. Remove the door trim.
2. Disconnect the two clamps A and lift the converter slightly, releasing the pin B. Then remove the converter (see illustration).

Installation
3. Cars with a sedan body. Install the converter by securing it with pin B and then with clamps (see illustration 18.2).
4. Replace the door trim.
External part of the converter
5. Remove the inner part of the impact converter.
6. Remove the glass and window regulator.
7. Cars with a sedan body. Unscrew the four bolts A (see illustration).

8. MEGANE "coupe". Unscrew the four bolts A and release the rods from the clamps B (see illustration).

9. Remove the outer part of the impact transducer.
Installation
10. Install the outer part of the converter and secure it with four bolts A (see illustration 18.8).
11. Replace the glass and window regulator.
