You will need a 13 mm socket head.
1. Remove the floor tunnel lining (see "Removal and installation the floor tunnel lining").

2. Fold forward the plug installed on the parking brake drive lever trim, covering the parking brake drive adjustment unit.

3. By tightening or loosening the adjusting nut, achieve a lever travel of 5-7 clicks.
4. Perform several full strokes of the lever and lower the lever to the stop.

5. Jack up the rear of the car and turn the rear wheels by hand. They should rotate smoothly, without jerking. Otherwise, repair the parking brake drive or the rear wheel brake mechanisms.
6. Replace the adjustment unit plug and floor tunnel lining.
