10 - The ring gear of the ABS wheel sensor.
Removal and installation
1. Remove both collars 6, excluding damage to the groove on the hinge body.
2. Remove as much grease as possible.
To replace the polymer boot, it will be necessary to remove parts from the side of the gearbox (hinge RC 462 or GI 69).
Note. Part of the right drive shafts are equipped with vibration dampers; if the polymer boot is damaged, replace the drive shaft assembly.
3. Remove the cover and replace it with a new one.
4. Divide the recommended amount of grease between boot and pivot housing in half.
Note. Observe the amount of lubricant indicated in the operating materials section.
5. Position the two protruding boot straps in the mounting grooves.
6. Adjust the air content inside the case.
7. Install and tighten the clamps.
