Note: For headlight removal and bulb replacement procedures, see the "Operation and maintenance of the vehicle".
Place the vehicle on a level, horizontal surface.
Do not apply the parking brake. Check and adjust the tire pressure to the correct level.
Open the hood.
Set the headlight range control knob to position "O".
Turn on the low beam headlights.
Place the headlight adjustment and testing device, set to -1%, in front of the vehicle.
Using the headlight adjustment and testing device, check the headlight beam adjustment.
Turn (1) the screw to adjust in the vertical plane.
Turn the screw (2) to adjust the horizontal plane.
Adjustment in vertical direction
Adjust the headlights using the headlight adjustment and testing device and turning the bolt (1).
Note: A block is provided to access the headlight beam adjustment bolt.
Adjustment in horizontal direction
Using the headlight adjustment and testing device, adjust the headlight beam horizontally by turning the bolt (2).
Install a small ratchet wrench with an 8mm head to access the horizontal adjustment bolt (2).
Fog light
Place the car on a lift.
Remove:
- front wheels;
- front wheel arch liners;
- front bumper.
Disconnect the fog light connector (1).
Remove:
- screws (2) for fastening the fog light;
- fog light.
Replacing the fog light bulb
Disconnect the fog light connector (1).
Remove the fog light bulb counterclockwise (2).
