This operation can be performed in two ways.
Removal without hinges: performed when replacing the hood.
Removal with hinges: allows you to maintain the original adjustments and avoid damage to the paintwork between the hinge and the inner hood panel.
Removal the hood without hinges
Remove the hood sound insulation.
Disconnect the windshield washer pipe.
Loosen the screws (1) and remove the hood (the operation is performed by two people with an assistant).

Removal with hood hinges
Remove:
- front fender liner;
- headlights;
- front bumper;
- front wings.
Remove the hood sound insulation.
Disconnect the windshield washer pipe.
Loosen the screws (2) and remove the hood (the operation is performed by two people with an assistant).

After installation, adjust the gaps and hood protrusion.
Disassembling the hood
Remove the clips (4) and the hood insulation (5).

Disconnect the fluid supply pipe to the windshield washer jets (6) and the windshield washer jets (7).

Remove the mounting bolts (8) and the hood lock retainer.

Remove the plugs (9) and (10) on the hood.
Remove the front logo.

Adjusting the hood
Note: For adjustment values for the hood, see Chapter "Gaps between car body parts".
The position of the hood can be adjusted in two ways:
- hood mounting bolts;
- hood hinge mounting bolts.
Adjustment of the hood lock retainer is performed in addition to adjustment of the hood position.
Observe the sequence of adjustment of gaps (1), (2) and (3).

Symbols A, B, C, D show how adjustments can be made.
The black dot in the center indicates the bolt body.
The grey part of the symbol represents the adjustable element.
The white part of the symbol indicates the adjustment zone.

Adjustment using hood mounting bolts
Loosen the screws (1).
Adjust the hood gaps by tightening the screws.

Adjustment using bonnet hinge mounting bolts
Tighten the bolts (3) securing the hood hinges.
Adjust the hood gaps by loosening the bolts.

Hood lock retainer
Note: Before adjusting, be sure to remove the retainer and apply a coat of paint to protect the hood from corrosion.
Remove the mounting bolts and the hood lock retainer.
Apply a coat of paint.
Install the lock retainer and bolts. Adjust the relative position of the retainer and the hood lock.

Hood lock
Loosen the bolts (1) securing the hood lock.

Disconnect the hood lock drive cable (2).
Remove the hood lock (3).

When installing, tighten the bonnet lock mounting bolts to the required torque of 8 Nm.
