1. Maintenance is limited to checking the tension and condition of the compressor drive belt, as well as checking through the inspection window for the presence of bubbles in the refrigerant (systems with R12 refrigerant, see Section 1).
2. The system requires periodic recharging as a gradual loss of refrigerant inevitably occurs. It is recommended to have a specialist inspect the system once a year.
