10. Check up firmness of fastening of hoses collars. If necessary, install clamps with screw clamps instead of the previous clamping collars.

Attention! A low coolant level may be due to the expansion tank cap being screwed on incorrectly.
If the fluid level often drops and the leak cannot be found, then check the cooling system with a warm engine. To do this, warm up the engine and leave it to idle until the fan turns on. Pay attention to see if fluid is leaking around the water pump.
Perceptible loss of coolant and (or) the presence of oil in it, as well as white clouds of exhaust gases with a warm engine, indicate a defect in the cylinder head gasket.
Attention! Finding a leak is sometimes difficult. In this case, it is recommended that the pressure cooling system be checked by a workshop, as this requires a special tool. In this case, you can also check the pressure reducing valve on the cover of the expansion tank.
