Removal
The front wheel arch protection is two-piece.
1. Mark the position of the front wheels on the hubs with paint. This will allow you to install the balanced wheel in its original position during assembly.
2. Loosen the wheel mounting bolts. The car should stand on its wheels.
3. Place the front of the car on jack stands and remove the wheels.
4. Remove the plastic fasteners 1 with a wide screwdriver and unscrew the bolts 2 with a TORX head (see illustrations 6.4 and 6.4a).

5. Remove the wheel arch protection.
Installation
6. Install the arch protection in place and secure with clamps.
7. Screw in the TORX bolts.
8. Install the front wheels in accordance with the marks made during removal.
9. Screw in the wheel bolts and lower the vehicle. Do not lubricate the wheel bolts.
10. Tighten the wheel bolts in a crisscross pattern to 90 Nm.
