You will need a flat-blade screwdriver.
1. Reduce the pressure in the fuel system (see "Reducing pressure in the fuel system").
2. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
3. Remove the fuel pump module (see "Replacing the fuel pump").
4. Disconnect the fuel level indicator sensor wiring harness connector from the module cover...
5. ...and the fuel pump wiring harness connector.
6. Press the lock with a screwdriver, move the fuel level indicator sensor up...
7. ...and take it off.
8. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
