Every 10,000 km or 6 months — check the clutch operation (Renault Clio 1)

Note: The following test is not specified by Renault.

1. Press the clutch pedal several times and make sure that it moves easily and without jerking, and that the clutch functions correctly, without slipping or dragging. If the pedal moves unevenly or jerkily, make sure the cable is routed correctly, without any sharp bends.

2. Inspect the clutch cable ends on the transmission side and inside the vehicle for signs of wear and tear.
