Note: The right and left outside mirrors are identical in design.
The process of removing and installing the outside rearview mirror is shown using the example of the left mirror; the right mirror is removed in a similar manner.
You will need: all the tools necessary to remove the front door trim, as well as a TORX T20 key or a 10 mm socket head.
1. Remove the front door trim (see "Removal and installation the front door trim").
2. Remove the sealing gasket from the mirror control handle...
3. ...and remove the foam sealing insert from the door cavity.
4. Remove the two bolts securing the outside rearview mirror to the door panel...
5. ...and remove the mirror.
6. Install the outside rearview mirror and all removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
