The instrument panel (Fig. 11.1) is a non-separable structure consisting of plastic panels. Control devices are attached to the instrument panel using removable elements; vehicle controls, heating, air conditioning and ventilation systems; covers that cover units located under the instrument panel or serve to install instruments, controls: heating and air conditioning system nozzles; glove box.

After removing the covers, access to the units located under the instrument panel is opened. Removal of these elements is described in the relevant subsections.
