Replacing brake pipes (Renault Sandero 1)

The connections of the tubes with all brake system units and hoses, as well as the principles of their replacement, are the same. All tube nuts are made for a key "on 11".

Note: The work is shown using the example of a tube connecting the brake hose to the rear wheel brake slave cylinder.


You will need a special 11 mm wrench for brake pipes.

1. Remove the tube from the holder on the lever.

2. ...and the holder on the rear suspension beam.

3. After unscrewing the nuts securing the brake pipe to the hose tip...

4. ...and to the rear brake slave cylinder, remove the tube.

5. Install the new tube in the reverse order of removal.

6. After replacing the tube, bleed the air from the brake system (see "Bleeding the hydraulic brake system").

  • Note.
  • The brake pipes located on the base of the body are changed in a similar manner, after first removing them from the holders on the base.
