Note: There are two windshield fairings (one on each side). Even if only one panel needs to be removed, it is preferable to remove both panels as an assembly and then separate the two parts from each other.
Removal
1. Open the hood.
2. Remove the wiper arms.
3. Remove the five fairing mounting screws (see illustration).

4. Release the fairing clips (at the base of the windshield), pulling the panels up (see illustration).
8.4. Separate the windshield fairing retainer (1) from the body (2).
5. Release the seal from the front edge of the panels, remembering its location (see illustration), then remove the assembly by disconnecting the flushing fluid hose connection.
8.5. Release the seal from the windshield fairings.

b. If necessary, separate the two halves of the assembly from each other after removal.
Installation
7. Install in reverse order, paying attention to the following.
8. If the assembly halves have been separated, ensure they are securely fastened before installation.
9. Ensure that the seal is correctly positioned along the front edge of the panels and that the clips are securely engaged.
10. Install the wiper arms.
