Switches
Removal
1. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
2. Unscrew the four mounting screws and remove the pocket from the door (see illustration).
17.2. Remove the door pocket.
3. Release the latches located behind the pocket and push out the switch assembly (see illustration).
17.3. Disconnect the window switch wiring connector.
4. Disconnect the wiring connectors and remove the switch assembly.
Installation
5. Install in reverse order.
Motors
6. The motors are built into the window lift assemblies and cannot be replaced separately.
7. Removal and installation of the window regulator are described in Chapter 13.
