Helpful Hint: The hood is quite heavy and bulky, so remove and install it with an assistant.
1. Open the hood and place it on the support.
2. Remove the windshield washer hose from the lower...
3. ...and the upper holders on the inner panel of the hood.
4. Disconnect the hose from the tee.
Helpful Hint: If you are not removing the hood for replacement, mark its position relative to the hinges (for example, by tracing the loops along the contour with a felt-tip pen).
5. Unscrew the two bolts securing the hood to the vehicle hinges and remove the hood.
6. If you are replacing the hood, remove the windshield washer hoses and jets from the old hood and install them on the new hood.
7. Install the hood in the reverse order of removal.
