This subsection describes the removal of the wiper brushes, levers and trapezoid. The process of removing and installing the gear motor is described in Section. "Electrical equipment" (cm. "Windshield wiper gear motor replacement").

Windshield wiper blade replacement



No tools are required to replace the wiper blades.

1. Move the wiper arm away from the glass, overcoming the force of the arm spring.

2. Turn the brush perpendicular to the lever, squeeze the brush adapter, slide the brush down the lever until the adapter comes out of the lever hook and, moving the hook into the window of the brush holder, remove the brush from the lever with an upward movement.

3. Install the brush in the reverse order of removal. In this case, insert the brush adapter into the hook of the lever until it snaps into place.
